Why talk to other lawyers?

As a lawyer, you are dedicated to serving your clients to the best of your ability. You have invested years in education and training to reach where you are today. But, like many lawyers, you may find yourself facing challenges that are unique to the legal profession. Therapy is a great and important avenue for facing such challenges but sometimes it helps to talk to someone who knows what you are going through. That is where I come in. I am not a replacement for therapy or other forms of mental health treatment but hope to provide a supportive environment for you to share your difficulties without fear or hesitation. Lawyer frustration, lawyer anxiety, lawyer stress, lawyer depression . . . it's all real.

I find that speaking to someone in person makes it easier to connect. I will meet you - whether at a coffee shop or in my office and we can sit and chat about the difficulties of being a lawyer. I want you to know that you are not alone.
